Medical Skin Care Center Celebrates a Decade of Service
March 11 ? 15 ? 8am to 5pm

Buffalo, Minnesota, March01, 2013?The Medical Skin Care Center of Buffalo Clinic opened its doors in March, 2003 when there was a shortage of dermatologists in Minnesota, the need for skin care locally was underserved and aging baby boomers wanted to look young. ?Many of our patients were traveling to see a dermatologist and we knew we could help by offering more services locally,? says Teresa Wrobbel, MD, family medicine physician and a founding member of the Medical Skin Care Center of Buffalo Clinic. As one of the first facilities in Minnesota to perform cosmetic dermal filler, the team continues to strive to be on the leading edge of both medical and cosmetic skin care.

Today patients are traveling from as far as Cloquet and Farmington Minnesota to seek care at the Medical Skin Care Center of Buffalo Clinic. ?We perform skin cancer screenings, skin cancer removals, mole and wart removals;0treat rashes, psoriasis and a variety of other medical skin0conditions,? says Deb Kill, LPN, certified aesthetic consultant at the Medical Skin Care Center of Buffalo Clinic . ?When we opened ten years ago, we had three lasers and microdermabrasion equipment. Today, we have six lasers that perform everything from laser vein treatments and skin resurfacing to hair removal, varicose vein therapy and acne treatment. We also carry healthy skin care lines or cosmeceuticals to care for acne, aging and sun damaged skin.?

The Medical Skin Care Center of Buffalo Clinic prides itself on being affordably priced because they want people to feel good about how they look. ?We?re here to help people,? says Kill. ?Being medically based, our focus is on our patients? overall health. We recently had a high school student being treated for acne. While insurance doesn?t pay for microdermabrasion, we offer it at half price after the initial doctor visit. That student left here walking a bit taller?we?re changing people?s lives!?
